When you feel the need to pamper our self, the only thing that crosses our minds is a good skin care like facials, face masks, manicures, pedicures or a nice warm bubble bath. But self care is not confined to skin care. Self care means relaxing your mood or may be mind or even thoughts or perception to personality. The change or urge to change anything about our self can count as self care and it is way too important to bless ourselves with “better ourselves“.
Apart from looking out for our health, hygiene, body, face and beauty, showers, nutritious food, meditation or yoga, there are still more productive ways through which we can enhance our personality or character which in turn will boost our confidence in ourselves. Some of them are as follows:

- Analyze your feelings, write or journal about them, take support for mindfulness.
- Doing personal work by planning.
- Re-arrange your room or home.
- Take a day out or weekend might be good enough to declutter, clean and organize your messed up wardrobe or drawers.
- Socialize , arrange get togethers, mix and gel while maintaining your uniqueness.
- Helping people with volunteering, standing for a cause, donating, spreading awareness about authentic knowledge you know about anything.
- Practice being grateful for tiniest of your blessings.
- Try and do a new craft/art or a hobby.
- Cooking can relieve stress.
- Compliment yourself.
- Stop over thinking and stressing your self over things where you cannot act.
- Travel new /small places.
- Reading a good book can improve your command over language, increase your knowledge and gives you better conversational skills.
- Solve some jigsaw puzzles or sudoku to sharpen your mind skills.
- Research something new of your interest.
- Read/ write inspirational quotes.
- Take a day off from your TV screen/ social media. Be present in person.
- There’s no harm if you are imperfect. Try to resolve yourself patiently.
- Start over again on things which you think you are not capable of.
- Remind yourself that you are being loved, you are worthy to be loved and you will always be loved.
- Observe your own views/ decision making skills and work on how to improve them.
- Listen to lectures which shares positivity or watch something light hearted/easy going shows.
- Put on your favorite outfit, dress up and click some pretty pictures to build up self confidence.
- Practice forgiveness when you do not feel like. This elevates you in your own self.
- Calm your self and assure that taking breaks, or may be even a day from your responsibilities is no bad.
- Cherish small moments of joy.
- Validate your emotions and feelings.
When you notice you are already doing well, you can emerge as a better individual.
These points are to give a self-observance, gratitude and become a better human than what you are today!!!
